All week a crew will pamper you with great food and good service. We will sail along the South West coast of Turkey, boarding several islands on its way, including the Greek village of Symi. You don't have to sail yourself, this is all taken care of. Picture azure sea, breathtaking settings, secluded bays, and authentic villages. Get tanned, recharged and relaxed!

PROGRAMME

Each day two yoga sessions are scheduled. In the morning there is a soft flow class to energize the body and get ready for your day ahead.

After that, the crew will have prepared a healthy breakfast for you. In between, you will have plenty of time to read a book, work on your tan, take a plunge in the sea or snorkel in the crystal clear waters, or perhaps you’d rather go for a stroll in one of the typical Turkish and Greek little townlets, discover local products and historic sites. This is all up to you.

In the late afternoon, you will calm down your nervous system and create space in the body with a relaxing Yin yoga class. Especially for women, your teacher Marjon will also incorporate Hormone yoga to rebalance your hormonal system.

TEACHER

Marjon teaches Yin, Slow flow vinyasa, and Hormone yoga. She is a mother and freelance TV journalist. Her life is literally Yin & Yang and that’s what students like about her - she is a ‘real life‘ yogi.

Marjon gives weekly classes, workshops and organizes retreats. She loves to share what she is passionate about: the way yoga can affect your wellbeing. Being a relatively late starter, she can relate to beginners and will make everyone feel at ease. With a lot of attention, she will guide you during your yoga session and challenge you according to your capacity. Marjon’s warmth and humor will make sure you feel safe.

ACCOMODATION

This yoga week is facilitated by Captain Jack Yachting. You will sleep and sail a Turkish gulet, a very stable ship which offers a comfortable voyage under nearly every circumstance.

Boasting a length of more than thirty meters, there’s more than enough room aboard for your own private spot. On the front deck, there’s a large dining table, a bench, and some bean bags.

At the back, you’ll find a large table as well as cozy matrasses where you can relax and enjoy some shade when necessary. The sun deck is also equipped with cozy matrasses and can hold at least twelve people. There’s also the possibility of spending your night on the sundeck, sleeping under the stars.

The ship is equipped with a swim ladder for easy access after taking a dip. The salt water can easily be washed off with the hand shower on deck. The ship has a spacious main cabin with a large table and benches. Drinks are served at the bar; that is if the crew hasn’t already provided you with one.

The individual cabins have a double bed and sufficient closet space. The portholes offer an amazing view of the clear blue water and the delightful smell of briny ocean air. Each cabin has its own bathroom including a wash table, shower, and toilet. Each guest will also get their own cushions, sheets, and towels.
